Our B&B has been built in the traditional style of Campidanesi farmhouses and we’ve decorated it in a simple, understated style to match.
A spacious living room in the communal area leads to a kitchen and outside terrace – perfect for sunny breakfasts – while back inside stairs lead to a mezzanine level where you’re free to relax with a book from our library, a spot of television or even a surf on the internet. A traditional terracotta floor flows through the accommodation and combines with exposed oak beams and decorative ironmongery to create a homely, rustic feel.
As proud owners of Il Quinto Moro, we live on the lower level of the B&B but guarantee you absolute privacy at all times. Access to the accommodation is totally separate and we’re only around when you need us – whether it’s to serve breakfast or to offer sightseeing tips.
The main room is available to the guests both for having breakfast in the winter season as well as for having a chat with the owners in front of the fireplace, an indispensable friend on cold winter evenings.
Above the main room there is a loft conversion (a typical Sardinian “intabau” which was traditionally used as a place to store grain) for relaxing but may also be used as a conference room.
The well-kept garden has many plants and flowers which are typical of the local Mediterranean Scrub and will introduce you to the variety of Sardinian flora.
