Twenty minutes from the bed and breakfast Il Quinto Moro is placed the little town of Villacidro which houses “Sa Spendula” waterfall, where the Rio Coxinos plunges over a steep cliff face of pink granite and oleanders.

When the river is in full flow the waterfall is memorising to watch and for the best results we recommend an evening visit when the low light refracts through the water to create a dazzling visual display.

Accessibility to the waterfall has recently been improved with wooden bridges and low stonewalls making it an ideal starting point for relaxing walks and steep climbs.
